Privacy Policy

1. Summary

This page is short on purpose. mk0.net is an indie iOS studio. This site exists to show our apps and let you contact us. We don't run ad tech, we don't have user accounts, and we don't sell data. Our iOS apps default to local-only or iCloud sync - your in-app data stays on your device or in your iCloud, never on our servers.

2. What this website collects

The website mk0.net uses one analytics tool - Google Analytics 4 - to understand which pages people visit. It is gated behind a cookie consent banner: nothing is loaded or tracked until you click Accept. If you click Decline (or don't interact with the banner) no analytics scripts run at all.

When loaded with consent, Google Analytics records:

• Pages you visit on this domain
• Approximate location (country / city, derived from your anonymized IP - we enable IP anonymization)
• Device, browser, and operating system
• Referring URL (where you came from)

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information through this site. We don't run third-party advertising pixels, Facebook/TikTok pixels, session-replay tools, or A/B-testing SDKs.

3. Cookies and local storage

If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets standard _ga/_ga_* cookies in your browser. We also set one entry in your browser's localStorage - mk0-consent - to remember your accept/decline choice so the banner doesn't reappear. That's the entire scope of client-side storage on this site.

You can clear cookies and localStorage from your browser at any time. The banner will then ask again on your next visit.

4. When you contact us

The contact form on this site opens your default email client with a pre-filled message addressed to [email protected]. The form does not POST to any server - your message only leaves your device when you choose to send it from your own email program.

Once you email us, we keep the conversation in our inbox for as long as needed to support you. You can ask us to delete that thread at any time.

5. The apps we ship

Each iOS app on the App Store has its own privacy disclosures inside the App Store listing (the "App Privacy" nutrition label). In general, our apps:

• Store data locally on your device by default, optionally synced to your iCloud account (no mk0.net servers involved)
• Do not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• Use RevenueCat for subscription management when an app has paid features (a pseudonymous app-user-ID, no PII)
• Use Apple frameworks like HealthKit, CoreNFC, or PhotosUI only when the feature requires it, and only with your explicit OS-level permission

6. Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR (and equivalent rights under CCPA in California, KVKK in Türkiye, and similar laws). You can:

• Ask what data we have related to you (likely nothing, given the above)
• Ask us to delete it
• Opt out of analytics retroactively (clear your cookies + click Decline)

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes that affect existing users will also be noted in the website footer for at least 30 days.
