RenDeploy - Deployment Center Privacy Policy

Summary

RenDeploy talks directly to Render, Netlify and Vercel using the API tokens you add. Tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on this device and are sent only to the matching provider. We do not run a server in between.

What we receive

Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for RenDeploy, and your tokens and project data never reach us.

What stays on your device

Your API tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on this device.
Your account names, favorites, tags and settings are stored on this device.
The last known status of your services is kept on this device to detect changes.

We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.

Permissions the app may ask for

Face ID: Used only if you turn on the app lock, to protect access to your accounts and tokens.
Notifications: Asked when you turn on status alerts, to tell you when a service changes status or a deploy finishes. Alerts are created on your device after a background check.

Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.

Data that leaves your device

The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.

services and servers you connect yourself (the app's main function): Your Render, Netlify or Vercel API token is sent only to that provider's API (api.render.com, api.netlify.com, api.vercel.com) to list services, deploys and logs and to trigger deploys. With notifications on, the app also checks status in the background.
RevenueCat (subscription management): An anonymous purchase ID and your subscription status, when you view the paywall, subscribe, restore purchases, or when the app checks whether your subscription is active. Your app content is never sent. Their privacy policy.

Your keys and passwords

The API tokens you add are stored in the iOS Keychain on this device. Each token is sent only to its own provider over HTTPS. Tokens are not included in the app's backup file.

Sensitive information

API tokens give access to your hosting accounts. Use tokens with the narrowest access your provider offers, turn on the app lock, and revoke a token at the provider if your phone is lost.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.

Ads, tracking and analytics

No ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data. The app contains no analytics SDK.

Account

No RenDeploy account is needed. To use real data you add your own Render, Netlify or Vercel API token. Demo mode works without any token.

Children

RenDeploy - Deployment Center is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Keeping and deleting your data

Remove an account in the app to delete its token from the Keychain. You can export a settings backup first. Deleting the app removes its local data. To fully revoke access, delete the token in your Render, Netlify or Vercel dashboard.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email [email protected] and we will help within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
