Subly Tracker: Subscriptions Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Summary
Your subscriptions and payment notes stay on your device. Subly has no bank access. It only downloads exchange rates and service logos, and RevenueCat handles subscriptions.
This policy covers the Subly Tracker: Subscriptions app for iPhone and iPad, published by mk0.net, an independent app studio. It is written from what the app actually does in its code. Questions: [email protected].
What we receive
Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app.
What stays on your device
- Your subscriptions, categories, payment methods, payment history, budgets and settings are stored on this device.
- Payment method details you add, such as a nickname, bank name, last 4 card digits or expiry date, stay on this device.
- Widgets and the Apple Watch app receive a summary of totals and upcoming renewals from the app.
- Downloaded logos and custom logo images are stored on this device.
We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Face ID: Only if you turn on app lock, to unlock the app.
- Photos: Asked when you pick a custom logo for a subscription.
- Notifications: Asked so the app can remind you before a renewal. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.
Data that leaves your device
The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.
- a public exchange-rate feed (jsDelivr / currency-api) (exchange rates): Daily exchange rates for your base currency. Only a currency code is sent. Their privacy policy.
- public logo and icon services (such as Clearbit, Google favicons, DuckDuckGo icons, icon.horse) (showing a service's logo): For services picked from the built-in list, the service's public domain (such as netflix.com) is used to fetch its logo. Names you type yourself are not sent.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Used to handle your subscription: an anonymous user ID, purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information. Their privacy policy.
Sensitive information
Subscription costs and payment method notes are financial details. They stay only on this device. Never enter a full card number; the app only needs the last 4 digits if you want them. You can lock the app with Face ID or a PIN.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.
Ads, tracking and analytics
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and no data is sold. The app contains no analytics SDK.
Account
No account needed.
Children
Subly Tracker: Subscriptions is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping and deleting your data
With Premium you can export your list as CSV, JSON or Markdown and import it again. You can delete subscriptions in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from this device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email [email protected] and we will help within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
