Vetrail: Pet Meds & Vaccines Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Summary
Your pets' medicines, vaccines, vet visits, weights and notes stay on your device. Vetrail has no account, no cloud sync and no analytics, and nothing you record is sent to a server. Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat.
This policy covers the Vetrail: Pet Meds & Vaccines app for iPhone and iPad, published by mk0.net, an independent app studio. It is written from what the app actually does in its code. Questions: [email protected].
What we receive
Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app, and nothing you save in it is sent to us.
What stays on your device
- Your pets' profiles (name, species, breed, birth date, sex, microchip number, color and photo), medicines, dose records, vaccines, vet visits, weights and notes are stored on this device.
- Pet photos and note photos are stored in the app's own storage on this device. The app only sees the pictures you pick; it has no access to the rest of your library.
- Your settings, such as weight unit, default dose times, reminder hour, vaccine intervals and the names you add for who gives doses, are stored on this device.
- The widgets read a small summary that the app saves on the same device: pet names and small photos, today's doses, the next vaccine and vet visit, and the app language.
We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Notifications: Optional and off by default. Asked only when you turn notifications on in Settings. Reminders and tips are scheduled on your device; there are no push messages from a server.
- Photos: No permission is needed to add a pet photo or a note photo: the system photo picker hands over only the picture you choose. Vetrail cannot read your library.
Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.
Data that leaves your device
The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Used to handle your subscription: an anonymous user ID, purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information. Nothing you record in Vetrail is sent. Their privacy policy.
Sensitive information
Your pets' health records are entered by you and stay on this device; Vetrail does not use Apple Health and does not handle human health data. They never leave your device unless you share a vaccination record PDF, send a support email or export a backup file yourself. Calling a clinic or opening directions hands the phone number or address to the Phone or Maps app only when you tap.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.
Ads, tracking and analytics
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and no data is sold. The app contains no analytics SDK and no AI features.
Account
No account needed.
Children
Vetrail: Pet Meds & Vaccines is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Settings > Delete all data removes everything the app stored on this device, including pets, medicines, dose records, vaccines, vet visits, weights, notes, settings, scheduled reminders and widget data. Backup files and shared PDFs are saved only where you choose. Deleting the app also removes all of its data from this device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email [email protected] and we will help within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
