Summary

Your medicines, doses and health logs are stored on your device. MediLog only reads from Apple Health and never writes to it. The only outside service is RevenueCat, which handles subscriptions.

What we receive

Nothing. We have no accounts or servers for this app.

What stays on your device

• Medicines, dose logs, schedules, mood, symptoms, vital signs, profiles and attachments are stored on this device.
• Photos of medicines, prescriptions and profile pictures are stored inside the app on this device.
• The widget shares today's doses with the app on the same device.
• The drug interaction check runs on your device with a built-in list.

We cannot see this data. It is not uploaded to us.

Permissions the app may ask for

• Notifications: Asked so the app can remind you about doses, low stock and tips. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
• Camera: Asked when you scan a medicine barcode or take a photo of a prescription.
• Photos: Asked when you pick a profile picture or attach a photo of a medicine or prescription.
• Face ID: Only if you turn on app lock, to protect your health data.

Every permission is optional and can be changed later in the iPhone Settings app. Features that need a permission you decline simply stay unavailable.

Apple Health

• Reads: Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Weight, Body Temperature, Blood Glucose, Blood Oxygen

Apple Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through this app. MediLog does not write anything to Apple Health.

Health data is used only to provide the app's features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and you can change access at any time in the Health app.

Data that leaves your device

The app talks to the following services. Each receives only what is listed, and only for the purpose shown.

• RevenueCat (subscription management): Used to handle your subscription: an anonymous user ID, purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information. Their privacy policy.

Sensitive information

Medications, symptoms and vitals are sensitive health data, and you may store data for family members. Everything stays on this device and is never sent to us. You can lock the app with Face ID.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase status, not your identity.

Ads, tracking and analytics

No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and no data is sold. The app contains no analytics SDK.

Account

No account needed. Family profiles are local to this device.

Children

Medicine Tracker: MediLog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Keeping and deleting your data

You can export PDF, CSV or JSON files and make or restore a backup from Settings. Deleting the app removes all of its data from this device. Apple Health data stays in Health.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Because the app keeps your records on your own device, you can do most of this directly in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, or for data held by a service listed above, email [email protected] and we will help within 30 days.

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date below before the change ships.
